What are your business hours?
As a family-run, home-based business, we offer flexible hours to accommodate your needs. Please contact us to schedule your pick-up or drop-off. Our standard business hours are 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
Are there any fees for late or early pick-up/drop-off?
Yes, a coordinated pick up time will be agreed upon between the renter and business prior to the trailer rental date to ensure timely arrivals. If the renter arrives 30 minutes after the scheduled pickup time or does not show up they are subject to additional fees and or rescheduling. Any drop off after 6:00 PM without prior notice will incur late fees of $25 per the start of each hour late, to account for additional resources and staff required for extended service hours.
What is considered a daily rental rate?
Our daily rate is considered a business day between the hours of 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. If a rental is needed beyond the standard business hours an additional daily rate will be applied.
What’s your cancellation policy?
In the event of a cancellation of a paid trailer rental reservation, a full refund will be provided if written notice is given at least 5 days prior to the scheduled rental date. If written notice is provided less than 5 days prior to the rental date, no refund will be issued.
What types of trailers do you rent out?
We provide a variety of trailers including: utility, equipment, flatbed, car haulers, tow dolly and enclosed trailers. We’re constantly expanding our selection to meet your needs.
What if I damage the trailer?
Upon pick-up, you’ll sign a contract accepting responsibility for the trailer and all included equipment. Damage costs will be deducted from your credit card that is retained on file, with any excess potentially covered by your insurance or out-of-pocket payments.
Does my auto insurance cover trailer rentals?
In the event your auto insurance policy does not cover trailer rentals for potential damage and or liability, we do offer additional insurance that you can purchase! You will need to contact us directly first for our policy number along with the VIN# for the trailer that you will be towing. Visit www.mbatrailer.com for more information.
Do I need a special license to rent a trailer?
No special license is needed for our trailers, but you must ensure your vehicle is equipped for towing the type and weight of the trailer rented.
Can I extend my rental period?
Extension requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges. Please contact us as soon as possible to arrange an extension.
How can I find your location?
Our exact location is disclosed after booking as we operate on an appointment basis to ensure privacy and security. We're based on the southside of Zeeland, MI for pick-ups.
Do you allow snowmobiles in your trailers?
If the intended use for the trailer is to haul a snowmobile, a $100 fee will be added to the overall rental charge. STUDDED tracks are prohibited.
Do you offer the option of delivering the trailer to the customer’s home, or other address that is more convenient and closer to the renter?
We have flexible options to either meet you at our location for pickup & return of your trailer rental. Or if you prefer the convenience of having your trailer brought straight to your door. We can do that too! Just call with your address, and we can quote the charge based on mileage.
